Split Sides in CT

In an article from the New York Times titled, “Voters Express Resignation in Connecticut Governor’s Race,” it gathers insight from a variety of small-business owners and workers across the state. Each person has a different take on who they are voting for to be our next governor, Foley or Malloy, but most importantly why.

The  interesting point of the article connects to the title. There is such a split here between the two competing sides. But each person describes their voting situation in a similar way, where both candidates have down sides. These people represent everyday citizens of Connecticut and show how neither candidate is the clear favorite. This article leans towards none of these gubernatorial candidates are going to be right, or improve Connecticut’s current state of being.
