Should everyone vote in elections? Well, personally, I believe we all should. Not only would the votes be more accurate, but they would represent the whole population, rather than specific types of groups that would and do vote more often than others. The current voting system therefore doesn’t accurately what Americans really think.
Over the last three elections, voter turnout has been consistently 30 points higher among the highest income bracket (those earning more than $150,000 a year) than those in the lowest (those earning less than $10,000).
