Aardman Animates a WWI film for Imperial War Musuem

It’s Sara again! Happy Veterans Day and let’s take a moment to appreciate our heroes that have fought for our country in the past,

Aardman created this beautiful illustration film for a museum to show the landscapes and dull colors of warfare. Illustration majors, enjoy this amazing film that includes wonderful sounds of the background filled with several actors quoting diaries and letters sent during the time. They use 2d illustration and 3d animation to put together this film. I am absolutely amazed at the detail and it lets me appreciate the past more with the messages and symbols, as I understand how much these soldiers went through during these wars. Take some time out of your day to watch this! The actual installment was at the Imperial War Museum in London.

How do you think they animated this film? Check out the original article here
