PIXELovely: Tools for Self-Educating Artists

Hey everyone! I have an amazing website that will save your life.

PIXELovely is a figure, gestural and animal drawing resource center that provides you with excellent, original, and clear references to practice your drawing skill with. In addition, it has lessons and tips, and a critique forum, where you can post the work you made using the reference and ask for fellow artists to give you a crit. It’s a great tool for people who don’t have the chance to take figure drawing classes, or just for people who want to keep improving those skills. Personally, I’m addicted to it; it has helped me immensely with understanding gestural dynamics in the human figure.

Here are some examples of what I’ve been able to achieve in my own work with this reference:

What do you think? Is this a great alternative for self-educating artists? Go try it out!
